Сегодня затеял (incoming) трансфер двух доткомов от internet.bs, получил письмо от 1и1 :

"You have asked us to change the domain provider for
ххххххххх.com to 1&1 Internet Inc. (order number: xxxxxxxx) and to register the
domain in the name of 1&1 Internet, Inc. - http://1and1.com/contact, Oneandone Private Registration, 701 Lee Road, Suite 300, US 19087 Chesterbrook as the owner with the responsible
registry.

To enable us to carry out this order, we need the written agreement of the
current domain owner, Private Whois хххххххххх.com, Private Whois ххххххххх.com ххххххххххххххх@хххххххххххххххх.privatewhois.net, *******PLEASE DO NOT SEND LETTERS******, ****Contact the owner by email only****, c/o хххххххххх.com, N4892 Nassau, Bahamas, or the domain's administrative contact
(Admin-C).

Please find an agreement form attached as a .pdf file. Please fill in the
necessary information and mail or fax the form back to us. If you are
unable to open the .pdf file, this link will enable you to download
Acrobat Reader free of charge:

IMPORTANT: If you are not the domain owner or authorized to use the
domain, please pass the form on to the *Domain owner / Admin-C* for
approval. An additional extract from the WHOIS database, also provided as
an attachment, will provide you with these details.

In addition to the completed and signed form, according to ICANN
regulations, we also require some proof of identity that the signatory is
entitled to enact this change, such as one of the following:

- Valid Passport
- Valid Drivers license
- Military ID
- State/Government issued ID
- Article of Incorporation (Company letterhead, company stamp)
- Birth Certificate
- Notarized statement

Please note that we can only start the process for change of provider if
we have the above information and only if the attached form is used.

Once the form has been received and checked -
1. We will apply to the central registry for a change of registrar to
1&1 Internet AG, 1&1 Internet Inc.'s technology partner, as the
relevant ICANN-accredited registrar.

2. Your current registrar will have five (5) days time to check the
process. If the transfer is not contested within this period of time, the
domain will automatically be transferred to 1&1 Internet Inc. or to
1&1 Internet AG, who will then maintain it.

Important: Many registries and providers enable Domains with a so-called
"LOCK" which prevents a transfer. Please make sure that any such LOCK is
removed to enable the transfer to be carried out.

3. The necessary updates will be implemented and the domain setup will be
completed.

Please ensure that the domain is cancelled with the former provider and
note that the registrar cannot be changed for a minimum of 60 days after a
transfer or initial registration.

We will provide you with details on the progress of this action. Please
contact us if you require any further information.

Решил перенести свои домены от 1&1 к GoDaddy. Впервые занимаюсь переносом. Кому из этих регистраторов я должен буду платить за перенос? У кого есть опыт, подскажите, как избежать неприятных ситуаций. Спасибо.

А не подскажете, у 1и1 есть временные ограничения на трансфер. У меня домены через полтора месяца истекают. Могу ли я их еще переводить к другому регистратору или ужу нет. Слышал, что где-то есть минимальный срок, 2 месяца или что-то вроде, когда трансфер уже невозможен.

Слышал, что где-то есть минимальный срок, 2 месяца или что-то вроде, когда трансфер уже невозможен.

2 месяца нельзя после регистрации или трансфера.
