Было бы логично для PIR зарегать все IDN.орг которые есть в IDN.org и придумать свою схему их продажы текущим владельцам.
Иначе два разных владельца на один домен в орг и org это просто мрак и полный фейл
PIR has stated it would not allow current .org owners to register .орг first. See https://twitter.com/jslascary/status/457234119240712192
This is a dangerous precedent that may cause any IDN zone to have confusion. Example : imagine if IDN.рус launches and 2 years later IDN.rus launches and the owners are not the same.

I am writing a letter to ICANN on this topic (user confusion IDN.ASCII vs IDN.IDN).

I believe that if example.org and example.орг are registered to different people, the confusion will cause internet users to lose trust and interest in IDNs in general.

Because IDNs are relatively new, this could be really detrimental to the future of IDNs.

I have already wrote to ICANN and the GAC (Governmental Advisory Constituency) in the past. The last time I helped get IDNs to be prioritized in the new gTLD program. See https://community.icann.org/display/...oard+Workspace

If you believe like Glow and me that the current .org situation could result in user confusion, and if you want ICANN to change that, please consider adding your name to my letter as a show of support.

I know from experience that the more people ask for something, the better the chances of ICANN listening. You can message me your Name, Country, and email address, and I will add them to the letter. I will also ask that ICANN not publish your information on its website.

Thanks
JS
